Game-Counter-Strike

Counter-Strike is a MOD (or modification) for Half-Life that counts with a big player’s community.

Its multiplayer mode has all the team action in a virtual and nice ambience.

As we know, there are two opposing forces (terrorists and anti-terrorists) with weapons and different objectives for each of them.

Then each player has singular abilities that should be exploited to their maximum level to face the opposing forces.

Maybe by rescuing hostages or placing bombs in key places, or just counteracting the enemies, Counter-Strike offers on-line entertainment for hours.

Note: This is an installer called "Steam", that will install the Counter-Strike 1.6 version, if the user ahs the 1.5 original version installed on the PC, otherwise the user will have to buy it.

MAC OSX SNOW LEOPARD V10.6-HOTiSO

Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard” is an Apple operating system update. Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs first announced Snow Leopard at WWDC on June 8 of 2008, and it was privately demonstrated to developers by Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, Bertrand Serlet. A first public demonstration was given on WWDC 2009 by Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller and Serlet. Snow Leopard will ship in September 2009 and an upgrade will be available for existing Leopard users for $29, or up to five computers with the family pack at $49. For a qualifying computer bought after June 8, 2009, the upgrade will cost $10 (with proof of purchase). Tiger users may upgrade by purchasing the Mac Box Set, a single package which will include Snow Leopard, iLife ‘09, and iWork ‘09.

The update to Mac OS X will focus on improving performance, efficiency and reducing its overall memory footprint, rather than new end-user features. This will also be the first Mac OS release dating back to System 7.1.2 that does not support the PowerPC architecture as Apple now intends to focus on its current line of Intel-based products. Developer previews have been seeded to developers.

About the Author
Mark Edward Soper has been using Microsoft Windows ever since version 1.0, and since 1992, he’s taught thousands of computer troubleshooting and network students across the country how to use Windows as part of their work and everyday lives. Mark has contributed to Que’s Special Edition Using series on Windows Me, Windows XP, and Windows Vista; Easy Windows Vista; Windows 7 in Depth, and has written two books about Windows Vista, including Maximum PC Microsoft Windows Vista Exposed and Unleashing Microsoft Windows Vista Media Center.

When he’s not teaching, learning, or writing about Microsoft Windows, Mark stays busy with many other technology-related activities. He is a longtime contributor to Upgrading and Repairing PCs, working on the 11th through 18th editions, co-authored Upgrading and Repairing Networks, 5th Edition, written two books on A+ Certification (with a third in process), and written two books about digital photography, Easy Digital Cameras and The Shot Doctor: The Amateur’s Guide to Taking Great Digital Photos. Mark also stays busy on the web, posting many blog entries and articles at MaximumPC.com, as well as articles for Maximum PC magazine. He also teaches Windows, digital photography, and digital imaging at Ivy Tech State College’s Evansville, Indiana campus.
